The automatic feeder is battery-operated (3 x AA batteries not included). For easy, quick and thorough cleaning, the top of the automatic feeder can be removed, as can the bowls. These can then simply be placed in the dishwasher – hassle free! The base is also easy to clean and just needs wiping down with a damp cloth.
