Everything else is absorbed by the biodegradable wood litter, which then turns into sawdust and falls through to the lower tray. Any solids in your cat's litter can be easily removed using the included litter scoop.
Cleaning is very easy, as you only have to clean the bottom tray where the soiled litter collects.
