The snap hook and Velcro fastener on the pull tab offer two different application possibilities:
- Fastening the expander leash with snap hooks ensures a firm hold, so that the dog is led safely by the bike. For this function, use the rubber band to secure the Velcro strap to the nylon strap.
- If you use the Velcro fastener, the lower leash will open if your dog pulls suddenly to prevent the cyclist from falling. Please note that the Velcro fastener should be closed low down for small dogs, so that only a little force is necessary. Close further towards the top for medium-sized dogs. The loose snap hook can be fixed to the leash using the rubber band to avoid possible injury.
