The longer your dog's claws grow, the longer the nerves a blood vessels also grow. To help prevent this, it can be beneficial to cut claws at regular intervals, to keep them short and healthy.

Advice for use:
Ensure your dog's paw is held firmly in place before beginning to cut its claws. Cut just small pieces at a time to help avoid injury. The claws should be cut at a 45° angle to the growth and never against the direction of growth to help prevent injury to your pet. The safety guard stops too much being cut from the claw. It can be removed by loosening the screws.
